Life on Campus in the US: A Home away from Home

 

Student accommodation is located at the Florida Institute of Technology campus which offers the student pilot access to the best that the US college experience has to offer. Florida Institute of Technology is situated on 130 subtropical acres, located very close to the Indian River and Atlantic Ocean. You might even get to view a Nasa launch as it is located less than an hour from Kennedy Space Center.

The campus is easy to navigate and you’re just an hour away from many of Florida’s attractions. Residence amenities include all the comforts of home and are enabled with internet connectivity. The accommodation comprises of fully furnished two bedroom apartments which are shared by two students. Each apartment has a suite style living arrangement that share a private bathroom. The campus amenities include a gym, swimming pool, library, restaurants and many other sporting facilities. The college provide a free shuttle bus to and from the accommodation to local shops and also to The Pilot Training College Flight-Line.

 

Waterford Campus Life: A City of students

 

Waterford city is one of the oldest cities in Ireland with a population of more than 50,000. A walled city of Viking origins; it retains much of its medieval character together with graceful buildings from its 18th Century expansion. Its area of influence extends as far as Tramore to the west and New Ross to the east to service a population of more than 120,000. Today, Waterford is a thriving city, where it has established itself as the hub for many multi-national corporations.

These companies are supplied by a very talented and educated workforce; most of whom have come from Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT ), the largest third-level institution in the south east of Ireland. The Waterford Training Centre is approximately two hours south of Dublin, Ireland. Our student apartments and houses offer luxurious homestyle living. They are fully furnished and maintained to the highest standards, including broadband in all rooms and ample car parking. All of our student housing choices have large living rooms, dining areas, kitchen and laundry facilities and some rooms have private bathrooms. The apartments and student houses are located in Carraig An Ard, which is just 10 minutes from Waterford city centre and within 15 minutes drive from the college. The accommodation is also close to many shops, restaurants, sporting facilities and other useful amenities.
