Our success is built on a firm understanding of what the industry is looking for and we train our pilots accordingly.

Pilot Training College is a supplier to many of the world’s major airlines. We produce Joint Aviation Authority (JAA) qualified pilots who not only possess exceptional ability but an ethos and deep understanding of what an airline requires. Our placement record remains high with many graduates now flying with some of the leading international and corporate airlines including Ryanair, Qantas, Emirates, Air Astana and Thomson to name but a few. Our graduates have also gone on to become career instructors with Pilot Training College and other leading flight training colleges. Aviation professionals from the major airlines such as British Airways, Virgin and British Midlands (BMI) are now coming to Pilot Training College to further grow and develop their career skills within the industry. Commercial pilots can also receive academic recognition by successfully completing courses such as the BSc (Hons) Degree in Airline Transport Operations by distance learning.

Careers Services

Our Career Services team is on hand to support the academic programmes and career advancement of every student.
The College runs a career preparation course, which ensures that all graduates from Pilot Training College are ready for interview and employment upon completion of their flight training. Modules are completed with all graduates in a classroom environment with discussion and class participation a crucial element to success. Primarily we help the student to get ready to embark on a new career in aviation and prepare each student to think about their CVs, interview questions and what the next step is for them. We want our students to recognise their unique strengths and abilities and to be able to easily convey these to prospective airlines and employers.

Alumni Group/Website

The purpose of the Alumni is to foster links and a lifelong spirit of participation and involvement with Pilot Training College. Our Alumni website is a crucial link to all of our graduates and allows them to become part of a community by keeping in touch with current news, events and services, as well as advertising jobs which are regularly updated on the Alumni website. We also assist with career progression by organising events that allow graduates to network and exchange information together. The College provides opportunities for members to maintain contact with their peers through various events such as The Pilot Training College Annual Graduation Ceremony and International Aviation Ball.
