Our Fleet and Equipment
|
Our fleet consists of a mix of single engine, complex and multi-engine aircraft, allowing us the flexibility necessary to meet all possible requirements for light aircraft training. We have access to a fleet of more than 49 aircraft including Piper Arrows, PA 28 Warriors, PA 44 Seminoles and Cessna 172 aircraft. Our fleet of aircraft have an excellent track record in safety and reliability. Their design combines stability and agility, which are the optimum requirements in the training world.

Features include electronic instrument displays and live weather and traffic feeds. More commonly known as glass cockpits, they have become the standard equipment for today’s airliners and business jets. A glass cockpit uses several displays driven by flight management systems, that can be adjusted to display flight information as needed.
This equipment further enhances Pilot Training College’s ability to produce quality pilots who can more easily make the transition to an airline environment. Our modern well-equipped aircraft are meticulously maintained to the highest standards at our fully certified on-field maintenance facilities.
Flight Simulators (Synthetic Training Devices)
Simulators and procedural trainers are used extensively in flight training. In the Florida Training Centre, we have access to simulators at our base in Florida Institute of Technology Aviation, which consists of Frasca and Elite units. In the Waterford Training Centre we use a Mechtronix FNPTII flight simulator for simulated instrument flying. Pilot Training College also provides advanced flight training such as Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) and Jet Orientation Courses.
