Captain Mike Edgeworth, an experienced corporate jet pilot with a lifelong passion for aviation founded The Pilot Training College in 2002 to provide superior commercial pilot training under the newly established Joint Aviation Authority (JAA) system. The College was co-founded by Captain Tony Kember, who has over 40 years’ experience in the global flight training industry. Tony was previously a Chief Flight Examiner for the UK Civil Aviation Authority, where he managed a team of 22 CAA Flight Examiners, conducting over 5,000 skills tests every year.

The College has a very strong student support team who care passionately about the welfare of each student. We place special emphasis on student support and looking after all the students needs to ensure their social, personal and emotional well-being throughout their training.
