Learn to Fly – The Private Pilots Licence

Your private pilot licence (PPL) can be a first step in your aviation career. When you complete the course, you will be qualified to fly any single engine, fixed wing aircraft for non-commercial purposes.

The Pilot Training College offers many different ways of getting your PPL at the PTC training bases in Dublin and Florida. For those with the time and resources, our full time programme PPL programme can be completed in as little as 8 weeks at our Florida training centre or take slightly longer at our Dublin training centre (weather dependent).

Alternatively, you can train for your PPL on a part-time basis – we can develop a a custom programme for you that helps balance your work and life commitments.
