Multi Engine Instrument Rating

The Modular Instrument Rating (IR) course is specifically designed for students who are working towards the full CPL/IR or ATPL (A). With the modular multi engine IR (MEIR), students will receive the same high quality training as the Integrated course students but have the flexibility to manage the cost of training and work commitments over a longer period of time.

Applicants must have passed the JAA/EASA ATPL, or IR Theoretical Knowledge exams and completed or hold a MEP Class rating on a PPL or CPL.
Following course completion, students will be qualified to fly any Single Pilot multi engine piston aeroplane for commercial purposes* in accordance with instrument flying rules (IFR). *Must hold a valid CPL

The training is completed at our Cambridge Training Centre using our modern fleet of Piper and Cessna aircraft, including a PA44 FNPTII.
