Position: Senior Training Management Required
Pilot Training College(PTC) is one of Europe’s leading JAA Flight Training Organisations. We operate from two fully approved and certified JAA Training Centres in Waterford, Ireland and Florida, USA and have recently selected Cambridge Airport as our new UK Flight Training base pending CAA approval which we expect in Autumn 2011. PTC is now seeking suitable candidates for a number of senior training management positions including Head of Training (HOT), Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) and Chief Ground Instructor (CGI). Ground Instructors – Immediate Start
Our Ground Instructors deliver ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Ground School in order to provide the students with a solid theoretical foundation of the subject matter and to prepare the students to pass the 14 JAA theoretical knowledge exams. The exams are based upon knowledge relevant to the aviation topics of Air Law, Aircraft General Knowledge, Flight Performance and Planning, Human Performance and Limitations, Meteorology, Navigation, Principles of Flight, and Operational Procedures.
Preferred candidates will have:
· Aviation experience and a sound knowledge of aviation
theory
· Fluency in English
· Prior experience teaching in a classroom environment
· Experience with ATPL theoretical subjects as outlined by the
JAA learning objectives
· Frozen ATPL or higher (or equivalent FAA experience)
