Airline Pilots walking through airport

At  Pilot Training College we measure our success on the success of our graduates and therefore the feedback from our airline partners is critical in this process. The following is a summary of the cadetship schemes that Pilot Training College currently operates:

Flybe

Flybe is the UK's number one regional airline, operating one of the youngest and most environmentally sensitive fleets in the world. The Pilot Training College Flybe Mentored Cadetship Scheme was introduced in 2008. The scheme is sponsored by Flybe with the aim of offering cadets First Officer positions with the airline upon successful completion of their training with The Pilot Training College. This course is a mentored couse and constant feedback is commnunicated to the sponsoring airline. There are further Flybe cadetships planned for 2010 including a recently launched part-sponsored cadetship programme.

“The staff at PTC listened carefully to the Flybe requirements and advice offered by the airline in refining the selection procedures and formatting the course. This proactive approach by PTC has resulted in a successful establishment of a Mentored Cadetship scheme between PTC and Flybe" Capt Ian Baston, Chief Pilot, Flybe
