PTC Staff carry out quality checks on aircraft in Florida Training Centre

Pilot Training College’s success is built on a firm understanding of what the aviation industry is looking for and we train our pilots accordingly. Each year we train up to 200 high-calibre pilot graduates. Our placement record is strong and we have graduates now working in some of the world’s leading airlines including Qantas, Ryanair, Emirates, CityJet, Aer Arann, easyJet, Air Astana, Aer Lingus and Flybe.

Accreditation

Pilot Training College is an Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) registered and Joint Aviation Authority (JAA) certified flight training organisation with training centres in both Ireland (JAA IRL/FTO-005-03) and Florida, USA (JAA IRL FTO-009-08).
 

 

The JAA is an associated body of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) representing the civil aviation regulatory authorities of a number of European States.This co-operation is intended to provide high and consistent standards of safety. JAA qualifications attained by graduating from Pilot Training College are recognised and accepted by airlines in 32 countries.

 

On the Space Coast

In partnership with Florida Institute of Technology Aviation, we have developed highly successful FAA & JAA training programmes. The Pilot Training College is located close to Cape Canaveral on the Space Coast and you can walk in the footsteps of space travel’s legends and actually witness space launches as you pursue your own flying career. As well as being an awe-inspiring location, Florida is ideally suited to pilot training, with over 300 days a year of good flying weather.
